 秋休みはとても楽しかったです！カリフォルニアのアーバインに行きました。私の友達の大学はアーバインの中から私は友達の部屋に寝ました。ビーチに行って、おいしい食べ物を食べました。たくさん写真を撮りました！そして、友達が大好きですから本当に嬉しかった。

 I watched a video on what it is like to be a student at Keio University. I recently befriended an exchange student from Keio, and I was curious to see what his life was like. Something that stuck out to me was their cafeteria system. I enjoyed seeing how healthy and small the portions were. I think that it is hard to eat a nutritious and well-sized meal. I also enjoy the cleanliness of the gym, where they have to take their shoes off before entering and bring a second pair to use indoors. 

 I chose to watch a video on a Japanese makeup artist showing us her routine of getting ready. I was very surprised to see her without her makeup. One thing I noticed about the way she talks is that she uses a lot of onomatopoeia to describe her routine tasks. She also included the Japanese counting numbers when listing her steps, which I understood.
