Since it is Autumn right now, I chose this video to learn about Japan's food culture during this season. I learned that Japanese food is centered on the four seasons, and that Autumn is the season of harvest in Japan. I learned that rice farming is very important in Japan since rice is a staple of Japanese crops. The Japanese view the harvesting, cooking, and presentation of food in a very meaningful way. The video talked a lot about how the Japanese have an appreciation for beauty.
